Each treatment is performed by one of Flushing Medical Spa's experienced technicians and may last from 10 minutes to an hour depending on the size of the area being treated.
How does xeo laser hair removal work?
Your hair contains pigment, and this is the key to how the treatment works. When the beam of light shines over the skin, areas of higher pigmentation absorb the light energy and convert it to heat energy. And it is this heat that destroys the hair follicle. With the hair follicle destroyed, hair growth is discouraged, and with repeated treatment, hair growth may even stop altogether.
How many sessions of xeo laser hair removal will I need?
How many sessions of laser hair removal you may need differs from person to person – you will usually need at least two sessions as the amount of pigment in your hair will affect how successful the treatment is. Your hair gets darker during different stages of growth, so you may need your hair to grow out a little before it is dark enough to absorb the light energy.
